About the role
You lead data science on Quincus client deployments in the Gulf: measuring how freight moves across a client's network today, building the models that improve it, and proving the result against an agreed baseline.
Fixed pay is basic, housing and transport, plus medical insurance.
What you will do
- Lead the data science work on each deployment with 3 to 4 data scientists and optimization scientists in Abu Dhabi, London and Toronto.
- Set the measurement method for each client pilot: the baseline, the comparison and the metrics the client signs off.
- Build and run forecasting and optimization models for arrivals, capacity and routing across several operators.
- Work on site with the client's operations and data teams.
- Present results to client leadership in plain terms.
What you bring
- Senior data science or operations research work, including leading a team.
- Forecasting and optimization in production: stochastic or mixed-integer programming, simulation.
- Python, SQL and a modeling stack such as Gurobi, OR-Tools or Pyomo.
- Work in logistics, transport or supply chain.
- Results presented to government or large enterprise clients. Arabic is a plus.
