About the role
You build the core services of the Quincus platform: the data model that represents a supply chain network, the APIs on top of it, and the services that run optimization and simulation jobs for clients.
What you will do
- Design and build backend services for many client tenants, including deployments into client-hosted environments.
- Move models from research into production with the data science team.
- Review code, write tests and run what you build in production.
- Write down the design decisions others will build on.
What you bring
- Senior backend engineering, with distributed systems you ran in production.
- Python, Go, Java or TypeScript; PostgreSQL; event streaming.
- A major cloud provider and Kubernetes.
- Graph or ontology data models, or optimization and simulation workloads, are a plus.
How we hire
A 30 minute screen call, a role exercise of 60 to 90 minutes, and a panel of 2 or 3 conversations. You hear the outcome within 10 business days of your last interview.
